A few weeks ago Chris and I planned a long weekend in Kyoto, Japan.  Chris had one day of vacation to use or lose, so we hopped on a plane and flew to one of my favorite countries!  I realized while there, had we waited until May of 2015, it would have been 10 years exactly since my last visit!

Kyoto is most known for its Cherry Blossom Trees, but seeing as those aren’t in season until the spring, we went for the fall foliage.  Autumn in Korea is absolutely beautiful, but if you want a true fall experience, go to Kyoto.  The colors seem even more striking when viewed next to the temples and shrines that take over the city.
